Rowena Ramnath-Fernandez, Psy.D. is a licensed clinical psychologist who received her Doctorate in Clinical Psychology with a concentration in Forensic Psychology from Carlos Albizu University, Miami, Florida. She is Assistant Director at the Counseling and Psychological Services Center at Florida International University and oversees the Outreach and Forensic programs. Among her responsibilities are crisis interventions, individual/couples/group psychotherapy, forensic consultation, pschoeducation workshops and psychological testing. Further, she supervises and trains pre-doctoral psychology interns and is both the Forensic and Outreach Coordinator for the Center.
Dr. Ramnath also serves as an adjunct professor for the Department of Psychology Masters in Mental Health Counseling program at FIU. There she teaches Theory, Research, and Treatment of Addictive Behiavor; Introduction to Psychological Assessment; Seminar in Adulthood and Aging; and Principles and Methods of Psychological Consultation.
